History:
Jenny comes from a well off family. She has just about everything any young child could ask for - except the one thing she wanted and needed, friends and family. Her parents were nearly always away on business - for long periods of time. She was quick-witted, and picked up things quickly. For the most part she was always bright and cheery. She never really knew she was lonely, having never had any friends.
One day, whilst nearing her eighth birthday, she received a letter from her parents saying that their conference in Paris had finished and that they were now moving onto Rome. She was instantly upset, realising that they wouldn't be home for her birthday. Then, due to a mishap, Oliver ended up in her apartment. Over time, the pair grew very close with them doing everything together. However, whilst at school one day, Oliver was "kidnapped" by his dog friends. Fagin notices the gold collar Oliver was now wearing and to pay back Mr Sykes, he tries to hold Oliver for ransom.
When Jenny returns from school and notices Oliver missing, she seeks out Fagin. With her dog, she follows confusing instructions, totally devasted by the loss of Oliver, a true friend to her. When she finally found Fagin, she displayed this distress, and holds out her nearly empty piggy bank towards him. fagin resolves to give Oliver back for free, but instead, Sykes shows up and kidnaps Jenny. With the help of Oliver and his friends, Jenny was eventually defeated.
With her new found animal friends, she celebrated a happy eight birthday. And her parents allow her to keep Oliver. After that, the alley dogs, Fagins gang leave their home.
Over the next few years, Jenny grew up and matured, though her bond with Oliver never wavered.
After falling asleep one night, she awoke as usual, to sun shining on her. But as she opened her eyes, she discovered she wasn't at home on her bed, but rather, was in a new place. A street - and it wasn't one she recognised. And worse... Oliver wasn't to be found.
